Doodle Pantry Vintage Phone

I have a Doodle Pantry January new release card to share with you today!
The digital stamp set I used is called Vintage Phone and I colored it with Copic markers in the neutral gray family, N1, N3, N5, N7, N9 after printing it on Copic X Press It blending card.  The sentiment is also from this fun digital stamp set.

I wanted to go with an old fashioned theme for my card and keep it black and white but added a splash of red and a scrap of flowered patterned paper.  I also used a few of my neglected Spellbinders dies, Mega Ovals and Mega Scalloped Ovals, Long Skinny Rectangles & Long Skinny Scalloped Rectangles.  To dress up the white panel I used a Cuttlebug Script embossing folder and to finish it off I added three black half pearls.

Thanks for visiting my blog today -

Jan, your card is amazing! I love your card. That pop of red from the ribbon just makes the card. Love your coloring of the phone too, not to mention that embossing folder (my favorite!) and the scallop detail of the accent panels. Love the pearl accents and those little white flowers on the bottom paper panel. Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!

p.s. I have a new Hero Arts stamp set that I was thinking about using for this challenge, lol! Are you sure we aren't related somehow? ♥
