I think I've been waiting all month for this one!
Karen and Tammy had discussed this challenge and had it in motion when I came in as part of the OWH Stars & Stamps administrative team for the midweek throwdown. I've taken over Karen's job doing the midweek throwdown and I've been under her wing for several weeks now and I'm about to have to fly on my own soon, but all of the wonderful card makers she's worked with have befriended me too.
On to the card making! My image is by Di's Digi downloads and I colored him with Copic markers using my newest favorite technique dotting on the backgrounds. My sketch is from looking on the challenge blogs where I saw the most beautiful card and used bits and pieces of that layout for this one. I printed God Bless America on the computer for my sentiment because 4th of July is coming and I just couldn't get it out of my mind. The stars are a Spellbinders die with Dew Drops enhanced with R27, the kraft panel has been put through the Cuttlebug with a new 5 X 7 embossing folder I can't remember the name of and the ribbon is from Michael's.
I know you've been seeing a lot of red, white, blue and kraft out of me lately and promise I'll try to cut back... I ran out of W0 so you're in luck until I order a refill...
Quite honestly I want to do some Christmas in July stamping and In Style Stamps is previewing their holiday images this month and I have some of them to share with you! I also have a couple holiday stamps from The Stamping Boutique that are available now and are they ever cute! I don't have anything for the holidays from La La Land Crafts yet but I do have some really cute images of theirs to share with you as well.
