Bug A Boo Stamps Valentine Ruby

Today is Oldie But Goodie Thursday at Bug A Boo Stamps Catch The Bug and I used Ruby to make a Valentine card.

This fun digital image has been colored for weeks now, waiting...  I did save the scrap of paper I wrote down the Copic marker colors on:  E31, E33, E34, Y32, B21, B23, G000, C00, C06, E00, E000, R22, R24, R27.  My layout is a sketch from Cute Card Thursday back in June of last year and I changed the panel Ruby is on to an oval instead of a rectangle.  My color combination is for our Midweek Throwdown challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps, the colors are Red, White, Blue & Kraft.  I used a couple of new Sizzix embossing folders to add some texture and three heart pearls to finish my card. I almost forgot, the sentiment is from a Papertrey Ink stamp set.

Challenges:

Digital Tuesday - From The Heart

  4. Well, isn't Ruby just delightful?! You've certainly managed to make her look better than she would, if not for your creativity.

  7. Hi Jan
Don't you just love Ruby! Beautiful card, awesome coloring. I learned two things from your post, that I don't do, but should. I never remember to keep the sketches, or write what copics I use. Thanks for the idea!
