It's the first Friday of the month again and that means it's time for our Clear Dollar Stamps Clearly Inspired Challenge!
This months Clearly Inspired challenge is a sketch.
Here's a picture of the sketch for you.
When I saw the Spring Violets digital stamp set with matching digital papers & this sketch I could picture the card I wanted to make in my mind. I love it when that happens! I also love being inspired by our Clear Dollar Stamps digital images that are released the 15th of each month!
I made my card using the Spring Violets stamp set. I re-sized the pre-colored digital violets image to fit my selected Spellbinders oval die, placed it on the page in my Publisher program, selected the sentiment, re-sized it to fit in my Spellbinders tag die and pasted it onto the same page and then selected the yellow gingham paper that's in the set and copied and pasted it onto my page. I clicked print for my HP OfficeJet printer and had a sheet of goodies to start my card with. I also printed a sheet with the 6 X 6 Violets patterned paper that comes with this set.
I cut everything out, matted everything with Stampin' Up! Eggplant Envy and attached it to my card front. The ric rac is a die from Papertrey Ink and I added three purple rhinestones and purple gingham ribbon to my little tag to finish my card.
I really enjoyed putting this card together and thought using this wonderful Spring Violets digital stamp set would be a great way to make lots of cards for the Operation Write Home Spring Thaw Card Drive. I put a little info about that below for you!
It's time for a card drive! Your package of cards can be any quantity....but should be half spring holiday cards (Easter, spring, Mother's Day, and we're including Father's Day so we can get a jump on those!) and half general cards - that means birthday, thinking of you, missing you, love, thanks....all the themes on our desired list here, as well as blank (no sentiment) cards.
To be in your shippers hands no later than February 28th!
It's time for you to go check out the Clearly Inspired Challenge now because there's a surprise (freebie) for you there you aren't going to want to miss!
