Clear Dollar Stamps Let's Hear It For The Boys

For my card today I used one of my first Clear Dollar Stamps sets that I ever bought called Sometimes You're The Bug.  What fun to ink up this well loved stamp with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamp it on a quarter sheet of X Press It card stock that was given to me by a friend to try.  I'm not overly impressed with the X Press It cardstock I'm sorry to say, I've never had all the funny white flecks on an image I've colored before.  My photo editing software program actually cleaned it up to look much better than it originally did - how odd.

I colored the cute Bug with Copic markers B26, B24, B23, B21, C8, C6, C3, C1, C0, C00, R27, R24, BG0000.  My layout is a sketch that I changed ever so slightly to fit my image, the cardstock colors are Stampin' Up! Brilliant Blue, Neenah Red Linen, Via Vellum Black & Color Mates Grey.  I also thought the Cuttlebug Diamond Plate embossing folder would be perfect for this masculine card.

    I love your VW bug stamp! I drive one just like that (not convertible) and it's the same color - BLUE! I love my bug and yours, too!

    Cute card. It's hard to find going away cards but I really like this one. Simple, yet complext with the added 3D texture of the grate emboss.

    I loved my bug and finally had to trade it in on a 4X4 to drive in the Utah snow. Your coloring with the copics is fantastic, as is this card!!!!!
