I have three Father's Day cards to share with you today for the Operation Write Home Midweek Throwdown challenge. The new challenge starts today and our theme is Father's Day.
My layouts are the same, I started with Operation Write Home sketch #27 but my images were too big to follow it exactly. It was a nice jumping off point for me though.
My digital images were freebies that came from Digital 2 For Tuesday and the second two I colored with Copic markers ever so slightly just to see what it would look like.
The deadline to have our Father's Day cards in our shippers hands is May 21, 2011. I thought I'd get as early a start as possible because masculine cards are challenging!

Jan-I downloaded those as well-You have given me some great inspiration. They are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteTerrific guy cards!
ReplyDeleteJan, These are fabulous cards, all three of them. I love those images and you did a terrific coloring job with your Copics. Just the right amount of color. I may just have to CASE your cards.
ReplyDeleteCute cards! The flat tire one would have been perfect for my dad. When we were young (in the 60's) seems like every long trip we took he had to change a flat tire.
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards, love your black layers, they really catch the eye. And those images are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteFabulous Father's Day cards Jan! I like the bits of color so much and the retro clip-art style images are fun and unique.
ReplyDeletegreat job on these Jan! I love those old Ford images on your cards! I first learned to drive in a Ford coupe, much like the models in these cards! Thanks for the memories :)
ReplyDeleteJan, your cards are terrific! The first card reminded me of the time my dad made me change the tire on the family car. I was days away from my 16th birthday, and if I couldn't do it alone, I couldn't get my license.
ReplyDeleteHi Jan! Thanks for you lovely comment on my CAS scripture card. Your cards are all gorgeous, I can't pick one if I need to pick a fave. Love them! :)
ReplyDeleteDebbie, Crafty Heart
