Dilly Bean Girl & Butterfly

Are you ever intimidated by a digital image you'd like to color?

This cute Dilly Beans Girl & Butterfly image has been printed and waiting for me for a couple of weeks now!

I took it with several other images to Craft Night at our church the other night and colored her, what fun!

I have to guess on the Copic markers I used but I think I'll be pretty close.

Hair - E70 - 79

Skin - E000, E00, E01

Eye - B60, B61, B63

Butterfly - Y13, Y15, Y17

Background - B60

I touched up some of her eye area with a C8 and left some of it alone, not the best print from my laser printer but who's to say I won't color this beauty again, she'd look fabulous with red hair...  

The Hello sentiment is part of a Hero Arts stamp that says Hello Girlfriend, perfect for her and the friend I want to use my card for.

Dilly Beans Framed Girlie

I have a clean and simple card to share today using a Dilly Beans digital image.  She's called Framed Girlie and she's colored with Copic markers.  I really like the look of these digital images with their big eyes to color!

Dilly Beans Framed Girlie

In my travels around blog land recently I found Dilly Beans Stamps and I'm captivated!  If you've visited my blog very often you know I like to color people with big eyes and fun hair.  

I re sized my Framed Girlie digital image to fit a card front so I could make a one layer CAS card with her.  I must say the hair is a lot of space to cover at this size and was challenging for me.  I don't feel like I got all the lines of demarcation gone to my satisfaction but I can print this image as many times as my heart desires and keep practicing because it's digital.  I do like the size of her eyes though - so it's a trade off.

She's colored with Copic markers and I added eyelashes to her eyes using Copic multiliners and a white gel pen.  Megan K. Suarez is the talented artist of these images and in her paintings her ladies have fabulous eye lashes so I thought I'd give it a try.

My card today also works for our Operation Write Home Midweek Throwdown challenge - the theme is "Any Occasion" with no sentiment.  She's going in my OWH box (:
