I was asked to make a card for our Pastor's birthday big enough for the congregation sign. We had a nice after church lunch for him yesterday so it's safe to show his card today! Happy Birthday Pastor George!
The image is a digi stamp from Fred She Said Designs that I colored with Copic markers and air brushed part of the background. I hadn't worked with this range of Olive pens yet and really like how this turned out. The card stock is Papertrey Ink Ripe Avocado and the diamond plate panel is aluminum foil with card stock under it run through the Cuttlebug.
After talking with his wife I discovered he liked to BBQ so here's what I did with the inside of the card:
Another digi stamp, but this one is from Mo's Digital Pencil, he's part of her big guy collection. He's also colored with Copic markers. I was able to merge the digi stamp and the verse for the inside of the card in my Microsoft Publisher program. I'm learning new stuff all the time! I don't remember where the verse came from, I've modified it somewhat from the original version.
I'd like to also enter this card in the "For The Boy's" challenges at Dare U 2 Digi Stamp and The Creative Cottage.
Have a good day, I hope you have time to create something fun!
