Thinking Of You

I'm really excited about how this card turned out today!
She's Princess Oceana by Michelle Perkett Studio.

My card stock colors are rather odd together but they work, the turquoise was in the pile of scraps next to my cutter and I believe could be by Papertrey Ink and the other is Stampin' Up! More Mustard with basic black.  I colored several Michelle Perkett Studio images last Thursday and this was the last one.  Do you ever sit and color images and like each one more and more?  I'm not sure that even makes sense!

...so it was like this, I colored Michelle's image "Fire" and was happy with her and then I colored "Autumn", had a wonderful time coloring her, loved what she looked like and moved on to Princess Oceana, when I was done with her I was positively "wowed" at how she came to life under my Copic markers.  I'd set her aside so we could have dinner at the table and had to come back and add Stampin' Up! Crystal Effects to the shells in her hair.  I tried white half pearls and some tiny rhinestones I have but they just didn't show up like the BG10 & BG11 so Crystal Effects it was.

Our challenge this week at the Michelle Perkett Studio blog is "Girlie With Some Bling", I'm not sure if Princess Oceana really qualifies since my "bling" is Crystal Effects.  I don't use very much glitter on my projects because I send a lot of my cards to Operation Write Home and glitter puts our troops in danger.
I've been told I think too much...

I hope you'll play along in our challenge at Michelle Perkett Studio and get "girlie" with us.   There are a couple of freebies at Michelle's groups at Paper Craft Planet, CDAC and SNR Card Universe if you don't have any of Michelle's awesome digital images yet and there's a bunch for sale at her Etsy store too.

I'm celebrating 500 blog posts with blog candy for my followers, click here for more info!
