School's Out in Parker

Today is the first day of summer vacation for my kids, we have eight short weeks of freedom.  I'm happy to have them home with me, wondering how we're going to keep them occupied and happy there's not going to be daily homework... for them anyway!

My post today has to be quick, I'm working on Welcome packets for our church and need to have them ready very soon.  Here's what they look like finished.
I've also stolen a few moment to complete a tutorial I found at Whimsie Doodles.  She's included a download so we can practice coloring, how cool is that?!
I scanned the sheet after coloring it for you to see all the eye color combination's.  Go check out the Whimsie Doodles blog for a full tutorial.

...and the last thing on my mind today!!  I found out Sunday that I'm a new design team member for The Stamping Boutique!!  Whooo Hoooo!  My blog candy for the Operation Write Home blog hop features one of their stamps.

Now, I have to get back to work so I can play!

A great idea for a welcome packet to your church. Is the central image stamped or printed and did you color it in or was it already in color?

Another DT appointment??! My, you really are a hot item this week aren't you??!!! Congratulations - again!

Your church welcome packet is so pretty! I love the design and colors! I'm going to make a copy of those color combinations even though I don't have any Copics (yet) :)

Hi, Jan, I really love your work. I just found your blog today and I know I will be going through all the archives.
I am going to be in Havasu for the first week of December this year. Please let me know if you will be having any classes that week, I would love to drive down and meet you.

I see that your link works OK for the OWH challenge. I can't wait to see what everyone will be having again, especially since there are so many blogs involved. I'm sure yours will be outstanding! See you on Sat.!

Congrats on your win at the TKT challenge! Your work is always so great! Even though I don't have copics yet, I still read up on all the tutorials like yours so I know what to do if I ever get any.
