OWH Stash Challenge - Bring out your stars

This weeks Midweek Throwdown at Operation Write Home Stars & Stripes blog is a stash challenge.  The object is to go through your stash of goodies and bring out your stars to use on your card!  I couldn't think of any stars I had so I made some from the Stars Spellbinders dies I have.

I had to take a few days to think about the Stars challenge...  I actually made a dozen to help fill my OWH box, it's getting closer to the beginning of the month again!  When I discovered Operation Write Home I set a goal for myself to send one box of cards a month for our troops.

I found the printed paper at The Cutting Cafe, it's a digital download.  I printed one in red and one in navy blue.  Here's the same card using the navy printed paper.
In my travels around blog land I found a Memorial Day theme challenge at Pals Paper Arts so I'll enter these there too.  They have some gorgeous entries!  I think this is my new favorite color scheme, red, white, blue & kraft.  That's a good thing with the OWH blog hop coming up Memorial Day weekend, the theme is Red, White & Blue I Miss You!  That reminds me you need to check in with The Spotted Chick too she's having a color challenge using kraft!

Edited to add:  I found another challenge over at Crafty Cats , the challenge - stars & stripes - we have those!  ;)

I love your card. It was fun to use stars on a card. Don't think I have ever done that.
