Lace Butterfly

It's late and I just got home from Celebrate Recovery and realized I didn't make anything today.

So I thought I'd share this card with you that I made for the Eureka Stamps card contest back in April.

The techniques I used were Shimmer and Poppin' Pearl Ex.

For the Shimmer technique I sprayed the watercolor paper with my Pearl Ex and hair spray solution after I watercolored the butterfly with my ink pads and aqua painter.

For the Poppin' Pearl Ex I stamped the butterfly image on the Ballet Blue card stock with Versa Mark and used a sponge dauber in my Pearl Ex jar and dabbed it onto the Versa Mark Ink. When I was done I used a Swiffer cloth to take the excess Pearl Ex off of the card stock. It worked great!

Supply List: Stamps - Lace Butterfly by Eureka Stamps. Paper - Ballet Blue, Rose Red, Regal Rose, watercolor paper. Ink - Stazon Black, Versa Mark. Accessories - Pearl Ex powder, Metalic Ribbon SU, aqua painter, sponge daubers.
