Close To My Heart Flutter

Wow! I just got to a point a moment ago where I didn't think I had anything to do for almost an hour and I'm alone. Yikes!

It's been crazy this week with the kids out of school and getting them back and forth to swim lessons and Vacation Bible School. Not just one VBS going on this week but two! This is a really small town, I think they should talk to each other and have VBS on different weeks. But hey, what do I know??

Anyway, this is a card I made for a friend's birthday not too long ago. I was experimenting with Brilliance Pearlescent ink pads and acrylic stamps. The pigment inks work better on the bold stamps for me, I'd just discovered that. The grossgrain and gingham ribbons were some scraps I had so I was really just playing.

Supply List: Stamps - CTMH Flutter, Stripes from Outlines Rubber Stamp Co., SU Seeing Spots. Paper - Elegant Eggplant, Orchid Opulance, Basic Black and White. Ink - Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid, Lime, Purple and Orange. Accessories - leftover grossgrain and gingham ribbons.
