Plant Therapy Essential Oils

I received a goodie package in the mail from Plant Therapy to use and review!

Here's a little about Plant Therapy in their own words:

Because we believe in the power of essential oils, and know of their incredible benefits, we want them to be used in as many households as possible. Plant Therapy was founded with one goal in mind... we want to provide the highest quality essential oils (and accessories) at a price that everyone can afford. Plant Therapy provides oils that are 100% pure, undiluted and therapeutic grade. We source each oil from top suppliers around the world, buy in large volume, and negotiate the best prices possible. We then pass those savings on to you, the consumer!

As you can see from the picture I have Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint, Fractionated Coconut Oil and pretty green roller bottles.

I'll be doing several blog posts with these and other Plant Therapy products.

I'm studying Aromatherapy and learning a little more about these oils so...

I chose Lavender for its sedative and healing effect on the nervous system, anti-inflammatory and skin-healing properties.  Lemon because it alleviates inflammation, stimulates immune function, protects liver cells, and helps the other oils penetrate the skin. Peppermint because it alleviates inflammation, increases circulation of blood and oxygen, and stimulates immune function. You've probably guessed I've formulated a plan for these three essential oils!

I chose the Fractionated Coconut Oil because I've haven't had the opportunity to try it yet.
I've read that it is an excellent essential oil carrier, produces a nice barrier on the skin, but doesn't clog pores, and doesn't go rancid like other carrier oils. The shelf life is indefinite with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration isn't needed.

And then a package of pretty Green Frosted Glass Essential Oil Roll-On Bottles
They hold approximately 10 ml, 1/3 oz. each, come in a package of 4 bottles which includes the orifice reducers, roller balls and white caps.

So far I've opened the box and checked everything out, I'll have a blog post for you Tuesday, April 9th with a tutorial on how I've used these products.  I hope you'll join me then!

Thanks for visiting my blog today -
