Cuddly Buddly Happy Birdie

We have a new Midweek Throwdown color challenge starting today at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps, Cora Jean is our sample card maker and I had her choose the colors - she chose yellow and green.  I just had to add one more color to go along with my sketch so I added turquoise.

I used this sketch last week, I'm afraid it's one of those that's simple, quick & fun for me so you might be seeing it a few more times...   The cute birdie is a digital image from Cuddly Buddly colored with Copic markers Y11, Y13, Y15, BG15, BG45, YG01, YG03, YG05, YG13, YG17.  The yellow polka dotted paper is digital, I printed the poka dots onto a sheet of yellow cardstock.  Tweetie is also computer generated, I needed something to go on my double ended banner.

I hope you'll have time this week to play in our Midweek Throwdown color challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps.  Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Jan, How precious! This little, perfectly colored, image is just adorable. I love how your brought the turquoise into the bow and ribbon on your present. On my blog today you asked about me turning my stamps into digis. I never thought of it that way, but I guess you could say that. It's just that I LOVE HM stamps but I think a lot of them are too big for an A2 card so actually my husband thought of the idea of me coloring my stamped image and then reducing down on the printer. They way I can get several different images from one stamping. I still have the regular size for larger cards and I can make one any size I want for A2 cards for OWH. The best of both worlds. This was the first time I did it, but I think I will be doing it a lot more in the future.
Have a wonderful week.

More bright colors :)
I love that you have revived an older digi that I had forgotten I have in my library. As always, I love everything about this card.
Hugs, Lisa

Cute digi - your coloring is awesome as always. I do like how you added the turquoise to pick up the color on the present. I like this sketch too. Thanks for sharing.
